Bumper refund

Hi, wonder if someone can answer the question for me? I bought my bumper one week after iphone 4 came out (before steve announced we could get refund for it). It was bought at apple store with my debit card, but since I have got a new debit card. I know Apple has started automatic refund. I went back to the store, a salesperson told me since my bank sort code and account remains the same, it should not be a problem for me to get automatic refund. Is it correct or should I make sure they get my new card detail??

Do you have a new card but that same bank account number? If your new card is stil tied to your old account that you used to purchase your case then there is no need to worry that your account will be credited. I would ask your bank just in case but there should be no problem. The only problem would be if you got a new card because your old card was stolen then it might not be credited because any activity related to the stolen card would not go through but again ask your bank.

If it cannot be applied to your old account, your bank may send you a refund check, but that depends on your bank's policies for processing transactions of this type. Check with your bank.
