Hello Lindenbaum,
I've just got rid of it by:
Good luck!
The install found my printer since itʻs USB connected. Thanks for asking.
Search for "Time Machine" and it should find your backup app, if you are using this default backup app for the Mac.
😫
Aqua_RT good luck! 🤞🤞
I went to System Preferences to check if there were any updates and there was a HP printer software update that I downloaded and then the problem seems to have stopped.
This solution worked for me. Thank you! The printer is working properly again.
Kroes, I’m glad to hear that. Thanks for reporting.
Aqua_RT,
Maybe the 5.1 update would help in your case. I haven’t been brave enough to try it since it worked for me before that. In any case, good luck!
Did you manage to print afterwards???
TC Meyers - thanks for your detailed explanation this worked a treat for me.
Thank you TC, this worked for me
P.S.
I have read other forums blaming Catalina 10.15.7, but I am running Catalina OS 10.15.6.
Good question, I haven't tested it.
Do you have Microsoft installed? If not, you can bin those files. For me, the offending plist files had nothing to do with HP.
