Iphone won't turn on

My Iphone XR won't turn back on. I've had it less than one year and it was stuck on the Apple Logo screen for days. I tried the trick with the volume button up and down then hard reset and resetting it through Itunes but nothing seems to work. It died so I tried charging it and it stays on the charging logo for a long time, then every once in a while it will change back to the apple logo and then die again while it's on a charger and just remain on the charging logo on the black screen.

See below with my recommendations however note that you may have already tried options 1 and 2. I list them below just to ensure that you have preformed those tasks correctly.

1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

(2) If the above does not work then - Follow the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ If your iPhone is Non-Responsive or Frozen and see if that helps.

(3) If that does not help your phone might need service ➔ Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

Thank you, I tried those steps again but still no luck. My Itunes won't recognize my phone on the computer. If I go into the Apple store with this phone problem, would they be able to fix it or would I have to buy an entirely new phone? Do you know what usually causes this problem?

Good Question. Apple Store visit is a the best idea if none of the above recommended steps are working. It is difficult to state whether they will be able to fix it because if it is a software issue then they can fix it and if it is a hardware issue then, at least, they will tell you what is wrong and what caused it.
