Company iPad

Hi there,

We recently got rid of an employee and obtained our company iPad and iPhone back. However, he did not provide us with his password and we do not have a way of getting into contact with him. Is there an option or a way to get into the iPad and iPhone by resetting it to factory settings if we do not have the devices passcode or a backup of devices on our computers?

iPad Pro 10.5-inch, Wi-Fi, Cellular

Will need a copy of receipt or proof of purchase and take it in to the Apple store and see what they can do for you.

Erasing the phone will only bring the icloud activation lock.

Would also have the company create policy where employee must give employer those information.

If it is Passcode locked, check this link...it will erase the iPad.

If you forgot the passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is disabled - Apple Support

If it is Activation Lock Check this link...

If it is Activation Lock and you do not have the Apple ID information, perhaps you can provide Apple with the original receipt and they will help.
