Cant backup

Hi,

I cannot seem to backup my Iphone XS Max? Any suggestions on this

The solution depends on how you are trying to backup

See:

If you can't back up to iCloud or restore from iCloud backup failed - Apple Support

And:

If you can't back up your iOS or iPadOS device to a computer or restore it from a backup - Apple Support
