Am I now stuck with an Apple Music subscription - and do I pay for a subscription and for new music?

How does new apple music work? I pay for a subscription and then do I pay again to download new music?

If you have a subscription to Apple Music, you can download tracks for offline listening at no charge. They will be playable as long as your subscription is active.

You still have the option to buy a "permanent" copy of a song if you wish. This is usually $1.29 per track.
