I bought the iPhone 12 pro yesterday but I didn't get the Apple tv+ that you get when you buy a new apple product, I also received an email saying my apple tv+ has been extended to February, which is nice but if you do the simple math, that's less than a year.
any ideas? is it an activation thing or should it be automatic?

It is stated on Apple TV+ - One Year Offer - Apple. “² Only one offer per Apple ID and only one offer per family if you’re part of a Family Sharing group, regardless of the number of devices you or your family purchases.”
Any other free trial details would also mention or refer to conditions, as promotions always do.
Hi, I just checked with Apple Support and they said this 1 year free trial is allow only one time per Apple ID even you buy other new device you can't get this another free trial.
If you want another 1 year free, you have to register with another Apple ID.

As to the extension to February , I got that as well. I think everyone did.
This is something you will need to Contact Support about, so they can look into your account and sort it out for you.
Could it be possible that it wont show up until my current year has ended? which is now February since the extension.

just checked the ios version and I am up to date, when I opened the Apple TV app nothing was presented unfortunately, I also followed the link provided and that also has nothing there for me either :(
Oh ok, that’s sounds like it could be the answer to my problem, I did however look at the free trial details, and it doesn’t state that it’s only one per Apple ID, all it says is if you purchase a new eligible device you get the year free.
it makes sense that they don’t want it to stack up, but also the eligible devices are usually $$$ so that shouldn’t really be the case. Plus they should actually say somewhere that you can only get it once
like *one free trial only can be redeemed per Apple ID, future purchases will not grant another free trial. Or something like that
