Deleting an App

If you download an app from the App Store and decide you don’t want a word game during the free trial period, how do you make sure it’s deleted and can not charge you a fee once free period is done?

iPhone 8, iOS 13

Generally, deleting an app and unsubscribing from an app feature are two separate things.

You may delete an app but may still be charged for a feature/service of the app or the app itself, if you are still subscribed to it.

You can view your subscriptions and select to unsubscribe before the trial period ends, so that you do not incur any charges against that app. See this article which explains the process: See or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support
