Hi,
You should not have to install anything if your HP OfficeJet model is an AirPrint printer.
See Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.
If there is a problem, or if the printer does not support AirPrint, please post back with the exact model. There may be other solutions.
