Hi, Just got the iPhone 12 with clear MagSafe case. I'm finding the Volume up/down and side button hard to press when the phone's in the case. My daughter has the 11 with the clear case, and the buttons were easy to press from day one. Anyone else noticing this? Not sure if I just got a bum case. Thanks.

All, I found the buttons on my iPhone 12 clear case to be unacceptably difficult to use. I tried to return the case but had waited too long. So I modified the buttons as shown in this video. It was a really easy modification and made the button force level acceptable for me. I hope it helps you too.
I imagine it's better than the clear case but I haven't tried that one. But the silicone case buttons feel stiffer than the leather one I had on my iPhone XS. Maybe its just because it's new.

Same… The clear MagSafe case is making the buttons almost impossible to press. I would love if this was resolved ASAP. This case is by far my favorite style.
Yeah I’ve noticed it on the clear case too. Are the silicone ones any better?

But the problem is its design. It is lousy. I hope the project manager in charge of iPhone 12 Clear cases gets fired.
I did exactly the same thing, I was so desperate to be able to actually use the buttons. Should have returned it.
Worst case scenario but way to save your $$. I’m Leary to order any of the cases at this point.

While I don’t have any problems with sensitivity of the buttons, I definitely do not find them to be “clicky” at all either. I thought it was just me haha.
I agree. The buttons for volume up, volume down, and power are way too hard to press I return my iPhone 12 pro Apple clear case. I heard the silicone cases are better but I really wanted to clear case to show off the blue phone. Disappointing.
On my new 12 Pro I'm noticing that the volume buttons are fairly responsive, but the right side button is hard to press. Sometimes to the point where I can't double click it to get an app or make a purchase. I noticed it first in the case (silicone) but it still happens with no case.
I had the same issues with the clear magsafe case on iphone 12, so provided feedback saying how rubbish it was!
Then I saw the posts were there were issues with buttons outside the case, so I removed the case to check the buttons. All the buttons were responsive and worked fine.
I then "worked" the plastic around the buttons for a bit and they seemed to loosen up a bit, but the case back on and they are definitely more responsive although not perfect.
I hate this case. The buttons will not work without having to work extra hard. I’d like a different one, but which one? Now I’m afraid to order. It does work well with the MagSafe car holder if that helps anyone.
I got a Peel case, in fact two of them. They work with MagSafe and come in great colors. There are two clear cases, one with covered buttons and one without (pay attention).
