12" retina MacBook audio issue

anybody help please with my sound output issue... only works with external sound device, was this the issue apple can't resolve that's why they ditched this product 3 yrs ago..

I need some closure before I throw this junk off the window..

Some of those connectors could appear defective if debris had gotten inside.


Was there any result otherwise, with NVRAM/PRAM reset, tried at least twice?

"Settings that can be stored in NVRAM include sound volume, display resolution,

startup-disk selection, time zone, and recent kernel panic information.."

If you experience issues with sleep, wake, power, charging your Mac

notebook battery, or other power-related symptoms, you might need

to reset the SMC (System Management Controller).


Consider any/all resets 'as troubleshooting' & any positive effect would be a plus!
