The screen has been acting up when I use it, but now it just turned completely black, no colors or pictures. I haven't used it in a while, but it was a little glitchy before also.

Sounds like a hardware issue. Your best bet would be to take it to the nearest Apple Store or the nearest Authorized Service Provider for further inspection. Given that there’s a global pandemic out there, be sure to schedule an appointment first. Stay safe!
