Home Pod not communicating with iPhone
One of my home pods will not respond or show up in the Home app. Is there a way so reboot it without the iPhone?

So you Reset your HomePod which I'm glad to hear has worked. Another time try unplugging the device briefly first as that may be a faster way to resolve things. As noted do not poke anything into any holes you may find on HomePod. There are no service ports or hidden reset switches and it is a mains powered device.

Don’t touch anything there! You power cycle by unplugging it for a minute, then plug back in to the wall outlet.
Do the same with your wifi router
Ok, figured it out. Unplug home pod for 5 seconds, hold your finger on top center, the glowing light will turn white and then red. After 3 beeps it will restart 😊
You can try power cycling the HomePod and/or your router.

There is a battery back up in the Home Pod so there is no way to cycle it off and on
