iPhone 12 Incompatible

Is the iPhone 12 compatible with Boost Mobile? Boost Mobile is my carrier and I just purchased the new phone, but it's not connecting. I purchased it factory unblocked. Any one else having the same issue? Perhaps I'll have to return the iPhone and purchase it when it becomes compatible with Boost.

After talking to countless customer service agents I was finally able to connect my phone. I did purchase a new SIM card. But there’s a huge disconnect between Boost Mobile and their customer service. It all comes down to the lack of training. They’re not all on the same page. I recommend trying to chat with customer support. That’s what I did and I finally got the help I needed.

This process took me all day yesterday. I had a headache by the end of the night too lol. The regular nationwide SIM card worked for me. It costs $10. Once I had purchased tho, several different agents were telling me different things like the phone wasn’t compatible or that it required an extended SIM card. Turned out to be that that it had nothing to do with the SIM card. Boost has to do something on their end to make it work. I went to several stores and spoke to so many agents but it wasn’t until I chatted with someone on their website that someone was able to help out. I provided the phones IMEI and it’s new SIM card number.

happen to have their customer service number? what SIM card did you buy?

I was quoted to get the "sim card #516qt".. but didn't work today when the store rep tried to connect it. This has been a whole ordeal for me, 2 different iPhone 12s.. 4 different stores, handful of 1800 numbers and a migraine to get this sorted. please help lol

oh my goooooooooooodness, Finally!

After countless store visits, too many customers service calls.. I've finally activated my iPhone 12 with boost.

What an ordeal, if anyone reads this. This is what you need to do.

-New iPhone 12, Unlocked.

-Call customer service to have them "rescue" the phone, whatever that means..

-go to the boost.com "bring your phone" portal and purchase the correct specific SIM card, mine was an "expanded sim"

-call customer service and have them activate, do not tell them its the new iphone.

one thing I've noticed is when I stopped mentioning "New iphone"or "iPhone 12"..everything started to work. The second I mention a the 12, nothing they did would work or their network isn't compatible with the new phone.

-Be elated you didn't have to switch service provider to use your new iPhone 12, Thanks again "LovePoison":)
