Find my iPhone

someone recently was trying to find my iPhone, how is that possible??? Is there anyway I could possibly find out who it was?

The only way someone would try to locate your device through Find My would be if they had access to your Apple ID & password. If you believe either of those were compromised -- If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support.

I was getting the alert to my phone. They then disabled it leaving a call back number. Luckily since it is my phone and it was in my hand while it was happening I was able to unlock it, But it had to last for at least 15 mins, I couldn't use my phone because the alert kept coming through. I haven't given my information out nor am I sharing a plan with anyone.

How do you know someone was "trying to Find My iPhone"? Can you provide more details? Have you shared your Apple ID and/or password recently to anyone, family, friends?
