Having trouble with using sidecar.

My MacBook is Catalina version 10.15.7 and it will not connect to my iPad air that is iOS 14.01. In the settings it says there are no devices to connect to.

Sidecar issue I can't get my MacBook Pro (Catalina) and new iPad (7th Gen) to connect using Sidecar. It doesn't show up in the preferences menu. I have everything turned on, I'm sure. Any help?

catalina I tried setting up Sidecar with the new MacOSX Catalina and iPadOS, and for that i needed to connect my iPad (2018 6th Gen) to my computer (MacBook Air 2015). When i connected my ipad via the MFI Apple original cable it never connected fully because it kept “connecting and disconnecting“. While this kept happening, i cant even click “trust computer/ipad“ because it disconnects and connects way too fast. This issue started happening as soon as OSX Catalina finished downloading. I rebooted my Mac and my iPad. I tried everything possible and it still does not connect fully.
