I tried setting up Sidecar with the new MacOSX Catalina and iPadOS, and for that i needed to connect my iPad (2018 6th Gen) to my computer (MacBook Air 2015). When i connected my ipad via the MFI Apple original cable it never connected fully because it kept “connecting and disconnecting“. While this kept happening, i cant even click “trust computer/ipad“ because it disconnects and connects way too fast.

This issue started happening as soon as OSX Catalina finished downloading. I rebooted my Mac and my iPad. I tried everything possible and it still does not connect fully.

You discussed the cable but not the process you used to connect the iPad.
