Cocoa-AppleScript Applet

An applet is any small application that performs one specific task that runs within the scope of a larger set. “Cocoa-AppleScript” refers to the used scripting language (AppleScript) and its advanced ability to utilize Cocoa Foundation and Apple AppKit (GUI toolkit) frameworks (i.e. standardized macOS elements).


It sets it apart from other applets (e.g. Java applets) in the way it was made (programmed).


Did you find files of that type on your disk? Where? It may belong to the Script Editor as a template.
