How to customise a mouse’s buttons on macOS 10.15+?

I would like to use a recent Razer mouse for my 2016 MacBook Pro with 10.15.7 (and possibly soon 11.x).

It is official from Razer that they will not develop Synapse 3 for macOS and the v2 doesn’t support Catalina.

Is there any 3rd party software (modern, updated and supported by an existing team) that allows users to customise whatever mouse is connected to the Mac?

I don’t know if it works in Catalina or later, but USB Overdrive does that.
