apple planning to implement division emojis?

im half sicillian and i dont feel comfortable identifying with north italy or its flag because of what they did to the south. i know it sounds a bit nitpicky but its very important to me, and so i feel left out of putting my flags on social media and such.

i understand that putting in division emojis would mean having to do this across the world, and be a tremendous effort which may end up complicating the flags, and maybe even divide people, but has apple ever spoken about this? it would mean alot to be able to use my flag.

i feel like many people have the same feeling about their divisions because of history with the mainland, okinawa for instance.
