AOL app for computer

I’ve had AOL for years and get my Mail through mail on the computer. I have the AOL App on my iPhone and iPad but can’t seem to get it on my computer. Lately I’ve been getting messages advising that I can no longer access my AOL email through the mail tab on my computer and telling me to download the AOL app but I can’t find that app anywhere. What can I do???

AOL doesn't make an app for computers (other than the premium Desktop Gold for Windows). See the following: https://help.aol.com/articles/allow-apps-that-use-less-secure-sign-in

Also see this from that same link:

Access mail via Apple Mail on Mac OS

Remove your AOL account and re-add it to Apple Mail on Mac. When you re-add the account, look for the AOL provider logo to trigger the secure sign in method.
