This ongoing issue still exists on my iPhone when I change my flag color for an email it doesn’t stay. After I close the email and return back to the mail box the color I selected has changed back to the default red. This issue was discussed in 2019 with IOS 13 and it still exists now. This is ridiculous with all the new features from IOS 14 you can’t keep the flag colors from switching back to the default..

Not all email providers support multiple colors. The flags will stay red on your iPhone if not supported by the email provider on iOS. Please check with your email provider for more information.

Thank you. I use yahoo and in the past the colors were working just fine. My issue started after the IOS 14 update.

The reply was not helpful and the issue still exists. I have other email accounts and the same thing is happening there. I have a Macbook and the flags are red there as well. This is ridiculous the flag color is only changed when I swap left to open the more box. The color I selected there shows up but it doesn’t stay once I close that up and it’s just the email. This issue is very annoying since it’s pointless to have something that can’t be used for my 6S.
