I’ve changed my password on my iPhone 08 for personal hotspots however, the Apple TV tells me it’s the wrong password. Do I have to wait a while for the change to take effect? I can’t go back to the old password Which was the factory password. I didn’t jot it down 🤭
Personal Hotspot will have a Wi-Fi password.
The SSID network name will be based on the device name. Try changing the name too (iPhone: Settings﹥General﹥About﹥Name﹥), change even one character, so it will not use a memorized password, but ask to enter a password for the “new” network, to connect.
