How do you turn off sound when plugging in charger?

The iPad USB-C port is used by both a charge cord and a sound jack adapter for sound. If the iPad is charged while plugged in to an amplifier, there will be a loud hum. Is there any way to prevent this, or must Bluetooth sound be used while charging? Using a USB-C hub I have been able to connect both the charger and an amplifier but when charging there is only a loud hum from the sound. I think there may be one or two solutions: Use only Bluetooth for sound Purchase a special docking station that switches off charging when the sound circuit is active. Does anyone know if such a docking station is available?
