Change Weather location on iPad

How do you remove items from the ‘your locations’ section of the Weather app’s widget? It keeps defaulting to a location my iPad has never been and was never associated with. Also, I’m not talking about in the app itself where you would only need to slide and select delete. This unwanted location doesn’t actually show up in the app, so trying to delete it in that way isn’t a possible solution.

Hi MBR331,

Thanks for your post! It sounds like the Weather app widget isn't showing results for the correct location. We've got your back!

If the location doesn't show up in the app, then we'd try to remove the widget and add it back again (after selecting the correct location in the Weather app). Here's how to remove and add widgets in iOS 14: Use widgets on your iPhone and iPod touch

Remove and re-add the Weather app: How to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch Then download it again from the App Store. (If you have to go down this method, remove the widget after the app, then add the widget back with the steps above after downloading the app again from the App Store.)

Should it persist, then we'd recommend contacting the Weather app's developer for further support with their app and service: How to contact an app developer

Wishing you the best, take care!
