AirPods freezes my iPhone 11 Pro Max

1. Which iOS version is your iPhone currently running? Find the software version on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
2. Does your iPhone ever freeze or stop responding at other times, or does it only happen when using your AirPods?
3. Do you have Ear Detection enabled? If so, does the issue continue when Ear Detection is turned off? More about Ear Detection under the "Turn Automatic Ear Detection on or off" part of this page: Adjust the settings of your AirPods
4. When the issue happens and your iPhone stops responding, do you have to do something specific to get it working again? For example, does the iPhone start working again after you remove the AirPods from your ears?
5. When your iPhone freezes, do these steps get it working again? If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen
6. After your AirPods connect, do any error messages display on the iPhone before it stops responding? If so, what does the error say?
