The disk APPLE HDD ST 1000MD003 MEDIA appears but says it is unformatted

My mac showed a file folder with a ?.

I followed the reboot holding the command + R key.

This brought me to the Disk utility screen

but my disk or containers do not show up only the message below.

" APPLE HDD ST 1000MD003 MEDIA"

but says it is unformatted?

What should I do next?

I hopefully cleared all my data via disk utility. I erased disk called container disk 3, with format Mac OS extended Journal. After this step, I reinstalled Mac OS from recovery. It was in an out of box state and my log in details were cleared. My question is this, is all my personal details etc photos, files etc gone from this laptop and essentially unrecoverable? Accidently deleted Macintosh HD on Disk Utility - now my mac won't start up Earlier today I was trying to reset my Macbook Pro (2016 model on MacOS Big Sur) to sell and I deleted Macintosh HD from the Disk Utility software thinking that it would reset my mac to factory settings. Now my Mac can't start up and shows a folder with a question mark in it. First Aid does not work for any of the internal options. "Preboot", "Recovery" and "VM" are unmounted every time I go back in to Disk Utility. First Aid for Internal > AppleAPFSMedia does not work and says I need to repair the startup volume by running First Aid from Recovery? Isn't that what I'm doing? When I try re-install MacOS it only shows "Macintosh HD - Data" & "Update" and the installation always fails when reaching the end on either option. Attached is a photo of my Internal disks on Disk Utility. I would appreciate any help, thank you in advance!

Mac System Data is large This question pops up alot. Can't find anything to help. Left Top Apple Icon -> About This Mac -> Storage. Shows System Data at 325 GB. I've tried alot of things to reduce the storage on my HD. Gained some disk space back but the System Data has not budge at all. Where's what I've done: Removed some applications, including Xcode Move my iOS backups to an external drive Cleaned up my Download folder of old *.dmg, *.pkg, *.zip and other larger files. I always keep my ~/Libraries/Application Support, Logs, Caches, clean, Rebooted into Safe Mode. Took a look at Storage, and rebooted in normal node. Delete local versions of timemachine backup via 'tmutil listlocalsnapshotdates and deletelocalsnapshotdates. The free version of Clean MyMac X didn't do much except save me 5 GB. Have been trying to upgrade xCode for months now, no success. In the meantime the OS has been updated. I aways upgrade to the latest OS on the day it releases or maybe 1 week at the most. I think I sudden realize my 512 GB HD has alot of free space to little. Thought it was videos and music. But I moved those to my external drive. Any one got any concrete ideas and what can I try?
