iPhone 12 set up

After putting my Apple ID it’s been initialising for nearly 2 hrs - is this normal?

2. If you still have issues, this article is next to check: Apple logo with progress bar after updating or restoring iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support


"The progress bar shows installation progress. The amount of time depends on the number of files on the device and whether you're erasing, updating, or upgrading your iOS or iPadOS. This process can take as little as a minute if your device has little or no data or if you're erasing the device. If your device contains a large number of files, the process can take from several minutes to an hour."


"If you think the update is stuck, press one of the buttons. If you see an updating message, the update is still in progress."


3. If it has been longer than an hour, please force restart the device one more time please: Force restart iPhone - Apple Support


4. If the device is stuck still, try putting your device in recovery mode and restoring it with your computer: If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch won’t update - Apple Support
