Unable to Install HP LaserJet Pro P1108 Printer Driver. Please Help..

I am currently using Mac OS BigSur Beta 11.0 Version 20A5395g.. In this version I was using HP LaserJet Pro P1108 Printer for a few weeks without any issue. Today when I tried to print a document then a message was shown that HPRaster.bundle will damage your computer and I was unable to print the document. I tried HP Easy Start as well as downloaded the driver software frrom HP Official Website but when I am trying to install the software named HPPrinterDrivers5.1.dmg then a pop up is being shown that "This volume does not meet the requirements for this update."

That's why I am unable to install the printer driver and use the same. Please help how I can install the printer software and use it again. There is no issues with my Printer because I have checked that from my other devices like iMac & my another windows PC. So I think the problem lies in my MacBook Pro.. It's unable to install the printer software somehow..

I was getting the same error message.

Here's the solution that worked for me:

On the bottom of that message is a "reveal in Finder" button.

I clicked that button, which opened finder.

I deleted the HPRaster.bundle file.

I then tried to print again.

This time, the printer software came up with a "need to install printer driver" message with a "click here to install" link.

I did that and, voila, now the darn thing works again.

Thanks a lot for your response.

Actually I deleted the HPRaster.bundle file on that day when I first encountered this problem. Then I uninstalled the HP Printer Software entirely from my laptop. I also deleted the printer from the list in System Preferences and then downloaded the HP Printer Driver from HP Official Website. I want a fresh installation of the required softwares and drivers but when I am trying to install the Printer Driver downloaded from HP Official website then the message is showing that "This volume does not meet the requirements for this update." I am attaching the screenshot here..

Another problem is also there. When I am adding a new printer from system preferences then the same printer is successfully being added but when I am trying to take print out then it is not responding and no printing at all.

Can you please state the exact reason behind this?? How can I install the printer driver and use it again??

No. My problem has not been resolved yet. Till date I am unable to install the driver for HP Laserjet Pro P1108. I have tried every possible way but it didn't work. Yesterday I received the official version of macOS Big Sur. Previously I was using the beta one. Anyways. I will keep on continuing the same procedure to install and make it work at any cost. Apple should look into this matter. This is too much frustrating.

People who are going through this conversation please suggest any alternative to resolve the matter . If you are facing the same problem mention that in reply. This thing should be notified to the developers of Apple. Come on guys..

Thanks sccottsteg for finding those drivers! That worked for me where nothing else did. FYI, copying in the finder did give me an error but I downloaded the free version of FileZilla, pasted that link into the host field, dragged the file to my download folder and it worked like a charm. I was just about to buy a new printer too but now I don't need to. Thanks again!!
