Thanks for that information. Do you have the latest version of iTunes installed? If you do, please follow the steps on the article we provided.
Specifically, the steps in the section:
"If your device still isn't recognized"

I have no messages on computor or iPod. Itunes doesn,t recognise the iPod or computor does come up with the iPod looking in Windows file explorer.
My old computor died some time ago and I have a 6 month old HP running Windows 10.
