Blurry Live Photo on Lock Screen

Hi,

So I just got a new iPhone and I was playing around with the Live Photo wallpapers and decided to find some more outside of the defaults in various wallpaper apps. So I found one I liked, saved it and checked in the photos app that it was still high quality and it was. So I set it as my lock screen wallpaper but whenever I press to make the image move, the picture becomes really blurry.

Is this normal? I just want a clear live picture for my lock screen and this is quite infuriating. I’ve also tried it with multiple different photos and it’s the same result every time. Looks fine in the photo app until you actually apply it to the Lock Screen and then the moving picture becomes really blurry.

HELP PLEASE!
