Air Pod Pro TV volume

My Samsung smart TV connects to these air pod pros easily but even at maximum volume of the tv I can barely hear. I have tried setting the volume to maximum from my iPhone but as soon as I switch back to the TV Bluetooth the setting does not help to increase TV volume. It would seem these sophisticated air pods should be able to maintain a secondary Bluetooth control connection for functions like volume and transparency etc.
