Siri won't talk to me anymore

I have an iPhone 6s Plus

I just got my battery replaced a few days ago and now Siri isn't answering me. The microphone on my phone works, and I've gone through all the checks and reset protocols. Siri can't seem to hear me when I try to run through the reset. Has anyone else run into this problem and managed to resolve it?

Hello,

Thanks so much for answering. Ugh, that's terrible.

As far a I know it was performed by an Apple Authorized Service Provider—I had gone through my service provider, AT&T, and my plan's phone insurance.

My phone's iOS is up to date.

I used to use "Hey Siri" but the microphone no longer seems to be working. I have gone through the troubleshooting for "Hey Siri" and can't reset it. I did just find out that I can access Siri through my earpods though.

Please let me know if there's anything more that you think I might be able to do.

Thank you!!!

Hi porkypuff,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with Siri. As we understand, Siri no longer works after a battery replacement.

Was the battery service performed at Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider?

Is the iPhone updated to iOS 14.1? Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

How are you activating Siri? Do you use Hey Siri? Have you gone through: If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your iPhone or iPad

Let us know more details.

Have a fantastic day!
