Missing VPN icon on iPhone 7 but not on iPad mini following upgrade 14.1

Following upgrade my phone’s icon is missing. According to settings I am connected but I do now have to manually reconnect, if device is switched off.

I get VPN via McAfee on all my devices.

On your iPhone 7, go to the App Store.
Search for the app. Make sure that you use the exact name of the app.
Tap to restore the app.
Wait for the app to restore, then open it from your Home screen.

It’s an “in app purchase” and I’ve already bought the product for 5 devices and, according to settings, I am covered but the tile that used to show on homepage has disappeared.
