Printing with USB connection- iPAd Pro/Air

Go Here: Can I print from iPad / iPhone? - Rollo Support. They don't guarantee connectivity. As it reads: "Rollo requires a user to be plugged into a Mac or Windows computer via a USB cable." Here is where it says to do, and how to print:

1. Go Here: How to print wirelessly from iPad & iPhone - MacWork
2. Scroll to: Printing from an iPhone to a non-AirPrint printer
3. Proceed from there as Necessary

I believe the only way to print is via AirPrint, not usb
