Migration Assistant only brings across Apps fro Mac drives.

Windows PC Apps do not run directly in MacOS.

But you can install Windows using Bootcamp so that your Mac can run Windows.

Or there are MacOS-native versions of Adobe Apps (recommended).

A Few Thoughts:

  • Software Licensing is the Culprit:

A lot of this is one-time installation. It goes by the MAC address assigned to the computer. So, if registered, then - no, it will not transfer (though, this is not always the case). Adobe and Microsoft are pretty picky swimmers about licensing - so keep that it mind.

  • Contact the Software Developer:

Inform the software developer that your installation failed, and that you need a new install.

  • By Comparison to iTunes:

It is the same ordeal as when you purchase something on iTunes, and then you loose the connection, and it never fully goes through (something I've come across first hand (during snowstorms, etc) and Apple has granted me a new license.
