Apple watch pairing to new iPhone12

I have a new iphone 12 pro, I unpaired my watch from my old Apple phone, erased it, and started the pairing process again. I started with a totally new watch profile...it works, connects and pairs, but then bluetooth is constantly trying to pair the same watch over and over again. I have erased the watch twice, repaired it, and it keeps trying to pair afterwards no matter what.

Unpairing of watch during setup process I’m trying to pair Apple Watch Series 3 with my iPhone 12 whilst my other Apple Watch is being replaced. It pairs initially, then asks me to set up as new watch or from previous. Whichever option I choose, shortly after the setup starts, it then unpairs. I have tried resetting Watch a few times as well as reset my phone network settings but no luck with pairing. Any suggestions?

apple watch up to date but no option to finish pairing I have an apple watch 3 that I am trying to pair with a new iphone 13 - when I start the pairing it prompts me to update software, I go through this process and I get to a page that says "Your apple watch is up to date with all the latest bug fixes and security enhancements", however, there is no button to press except for cancel which the unpairs the watch. My iphone has the latest 16.0 software update, I have completely reset my watch, restarted both my phone and watch multiple times, made sure it is not paired with my previous phone, I have tried repairing with my old phone to see if I can then unpair and pair with new phone but get the same software up to date page. I removed the watch from my icloud, and tried manually pairing, all with no luck. Any help is appreciated.

Hi RickRicciardi,

Looking over your post, we see that your Apple Watch pairs but will not remain paired to your new iPhone 12 Pro, is that correct?

If so, are the steps below the ones being used to pair the iPhone?

Set up and pair your Apple Watch with iPhone

Additionally, do you have any other Bluetooth devices you can test with the iPhone? If so, do they pair without issue?
