airpod microphone not working on zoom and FaceTime but voice memo

I have airpod 2nd gen. Starting yesterday, my airpod microphone was working improperly on recording my voice(sometimes it doesn't record my voice at all, sometimes my voice just crashes, not skipping words but my voice sounded like a robot) and something even more weird is that it only does this for zoom and FaceTime(at least this two) but when I tried with voice memo, it worked fine(Im not sure if the voice memo was using my phone microphone or my airpod microphone though). It does not feel like an internet issue because zoom and FaceTime worked fine when I was using my device's microphone instead of airpod microphone.
