Just got the iphone 12 and i have a group of 8 ppl in a message. I realized that some messages are not showing up in the chat. I only know this because some are emphazing or laughing at a message that i dont even see??? It might be a non iphone use but im not sure. I have all the mms n sms on. I looked farther up the group chat to look for the messages being emphazied but cant find them?

Yup, same issue here. Didn't realize that others were having the same issue until this morning (and didn't realize how frequently I'd been having it, either!) It seems to have started when I switched over to my iPhone 12 Pro.
This appears to have fixed the problem at least temporarily. Apple needs to fix this. These phones cost way too much to not be able to group text.
Same issue with my phone since buying phone in Nov. Very frustrating that Apple is doing NOTHING to fix this! My advice DO NOT BUY the 12 pro max!

What did ATT do for you to resolve this situation? I’ve been having same issue ever since upgrading and have ATT. Wife upgraded to same phone as I and same carrier but not the same problem

Any updates to this? It’s highly frustrating, as texting is a core feature of a phone. This should be a table stakes issue and concerns me, since I might be missing critical texts.
Same here. Just got a new iPhone 12 Pro Max and having the same issues :( I can only anyone know of any updates??
It’s for sure not a chip/carrier malfunction. I have always had at and t and never had any texting issues with group text. It has been happening for me and my husband since we got the new phone...
who runs Tech Coach? How would they be able to know of a block was out on my phone? That doesn’t make much sense...

I think tech coach may be specific to Verizon. However any carrier should have tech assistance. Contact your carriers tech service and ask them about this possibility.
What, exactly was done to solve the problem? Tech Coach seems to be a separate company that is not associated with Verizon. This post might be scam or pfishing by Tech Coach.
Please see my notes above. Tech coach is an app. It is not a scam. It may be only for Verizon customers but I used them, it cost nothing and they resolved the issue
what I did was taking out the chip o no the side and then re inserting it. Or You just may have to start a new group message.
