My screen was frozen like this from yesterday but still received mails and notifs as usual. I can lock screen and face id works just fine but i can’t use other features. I did the instruction as press either volume button then press hold the top button but only Siri was called. No slider happened. What should I do now?

Hi! I did all the above instructions but still can't restart my iPad! Only Siri was called. I didn't know where I did it wrong! I've tried for about 10 times since yesterday but it didn't show a single change.
Oh dang, I made it. Turns out I didn't hold the top button for long enough. Problem's solved! Thank you!
