AirPods Pro low audio quality when using videoconference apps in MacOS

I will try to answer to a few questions unsolved I've found related to the bad audio quality when using your AirPods Pro in a Mac with videoconference apps, like Zoom or WebEx or Microsoft Tems.
The problem is related to the audio coded. Essentially, the crux of this issue is that when you’re using AirPods for a voice or video call on MacOS, AirPods switch over to Bluetooth’s SCO (Synchronous Connection-Oriented) codec to handle the audio input and output, which tanks the overall audio quality. However, by manually selecting your Mac’s internal microphone as the primary input device, you allow AirPods to switch off SCO, and the quality improves.

But you must take into account that the latest version of the Additional Tools for Xcode that includes the Bluetooth Explorer app is 11.4:
