Family sharing charging twice for the same app

I set up family sharing on a second Apple ID, I've downloaded apps on my second ID and instead of being able to share apps, I've been charged again for downloading them.


How do I sort this out?

Ensure purchase sharing is turned on and that the app is shareable. Additionally, ensure you're downloading the app from the purchase history of the Apple ID that made the purchase. Check out the information in the following article:
