MacBook Air will not activate, although it used to connect on iCloud

I have 3 devices connectd on iCloud; one device (Laptop-MacBook Air) will not activate, although it used to connect. After entering my Apple ID and Password, I keep getting bounced back to the sign site with the message that either my sign-in or password is wrong. I have tried changing my password numerous times but the situation continues with the other two devices working normally and my laptop still not connecting to the iCloud. Consequently, none of my information from my 2 recognized devices (folders, etc.) appear on my laptop.

When signd into my apple account on my other devices, my laptop shows up as an authorized device.

Anyone have advice?

Hello Bruce_VT,

Thanks for contacting us today. Having each of your devices connected to iCloud is important for syncing, and we're happy to help.

Please try the steps here to make sure you don't have more than five computers set up with your Apple ID: View and remove your associated devices for purchases

Have a great day!
