I keep getting a message that says “Cannot Verify Server Identity. The identity of ‘imap-mail.outlook.com’ cannot be verified”. Can you help?

This didn’t start until this week and there seems to be an untrusted certificate involved that expired in October. Any other thoughts on how to squash this? The suggestions in the posts here did not work. Thanks.

If you tried the suggestions above, which included calling Microsoft, what did they say about the problem?

You will need to contact Microsoft to find out what the problem is with your settings in Outlook. The message means there is a server issue for your Outlook account.

My husband and I are also getting these pop-ups, so it may be a broader issue with Outlook and hopefully a fix will get pushed out.

Try turning off FACE ID for that email.
