Why is my Mac Pro so warm?

All I did was watch a video for class and its warmer than it should be for a 30 minute video. Thanks lol

Video decoding and displaying are not trivial processes on any computer. They work both the CPU and GPU rather hard, so heating is expected.


Make sure you are using your MBP only on a hard surface with nothing near the bottom or hinge area that can block airflow. Please see:
