Hi! I just bought my first MacBook (MacBook pro 2020) and I noticed that it got very warm as soon as it started up. I did download the WhatsApp and discord app but didn't do anything weird with it. Is that normal?

All newer Macbooks run hot due to the Aluminum housing conducting heat and the poor design of the built in fans to expel heat. Be careful making contact with the bottom surface as it is possible to burn yourself over extended periods of time.
