Anyone else having issues pairing with certain devices. I was able to pair with some and not others....it shows up in my directory but says pairing unsuccseful
thoughts?

I believe this thread started as an Issue connecting iPhone 12 via Bluetooth to models of Homewerks bathroom light/fan/speaker then others jumped in on various other Bluetooth issues like JBL speakers, cars, etc. I encourage everyone who has a Homewerks bathroom light/fan/speaker to call Apple Support at 1-800-APLCARE and request a ticket be open for tracking the obvious problem that all model Apple phones connect to this particular bathroom fan except many versions of the iPhone 12. Then call back every two weeks for update on status of the open tickets amongst many... including Homeworks themselves that sent these bathroom fans to Apple for troubleshooting.
I have the same problem I phone 12 won’t connect, all my android phones connect with no problems. Kids iPhone 8 Plus and 10 connect
Ditto. Exact same problem. Does it take an act of Congress to get this fixed. Shame on you Apple or should I say crabapple because this does leave a bitter taste in my mouth.
Same issue iPhone 12 will not even find headphones or Eargo device . Apple get it fixed!!!
Trying to pair with Sony portable speaker. Blue tooth tuned on on both devices but not connecting. Successfully connected to Apple TV and MacBook.
Same issue. I just replaced my iphone with iphone 12 mini. It will not pair with my T101 treadmill. No issue pairing with old iphone. Please fix this apple.

Same problem with Plantronics Bluetooth ear piece. Worked fine until new iPhone 12 Pro. iPhone 12 Pro cannot even FIND the Plantronics. Very frustrating.
What do you mean? When you said bathroom speaker device?
Had a conversation with Apple and they looked at my settings etc, but unable to sort specific issue re JBL Charge 3 portable speaker. Suggested contacting JBL for a firmware update. Have looked at website with no luck, have asked via message 😳

I just bought an iPhone 12. When I try to pair it with my Dual Bluetooth speakers, they don’t even show up.
I had no problem pairing them with my iPhone 7plus. This is very disappointing! Seems like Apple would have resolved this months ago.
I wrestled with as well. In my case, I had to get my iPad to “forget” the device and only then could it successfully pair with my iPhone 12 mini. This was not a problem with my earlier iPhone (6s). Anyway, check to see if you have the device paired with more than one IOS device concurrently. That may be it.
If anyone finds out how we can hook up the iPhone 12 to Homewerks Bluetooth light and fan please share. It is absolutely ridiculous to pay this much for a phone and to lose so many things. I am so sorry I switched :-(
