cannot update from 14.2 beta to 14.1 public.

Deleting the profile will not remove the beta from your device. The only way would be to restore it through iTunes on a computer and then restore from a pre-beta backup. Conversely, if you already removed the profile, do nothing and wait for 14.2 to become public and it will show as a normal update for you and you can update out of beta without having to mess around with your data and attempt recovery and all that jazz.

I am getting the same message on my ipad 7, all attempts to update come back 14.2 is the current update.

I have tried restore thru Itunes after removing find my and it comes back missing software.

I assume it means I do not have 14.1 stored.

As a PS to all posting in the forums about this issue... when you signed up for beta, you digitally signed an NDA that forbids you from discussing the beta softwares in public as well as post on social media or public forums. Removing the beta profile will NOT resolve the issue. Apple is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it.

I guess, this is the same problem. Nope, you are correct, deleting the beta profile did not resolve the issue.

This is the message I see every time, I power ON my iPad Pro. Also, occurs solemnly.

Many users have reported getting this same spurious message. About all we can do is click OK and ignore it until Apple fixes whatever is causing it (or releases 14.2 to the public).

This is sad. My iPad Pro is not covered under any support system. It is not possible for me to connect over chat too.
