Microphone Static

My microphone creates static noise on all of my apps, FaceTime and voice memo app. However, the sound is perfectly clear on the camera app. How do I fix this issue?

We see from your post that your microphone will cause static in most apps, but the Camera app is unaffected.


The iPhone has multiple microphones, it is possible there may be an issue with one of them. Take a look at the following article for steps to help address an issue with your iPhone's microphones:
