I am trying to recreate something I was able to do in Keynote years ago but I forgot how. It looks like this:
my problem is with the math symbols. In my presentation it looks like this now:
Basically, I'm not getting a decent 'Q' (math symbol for the set of rational numbers) and I am also not able to get both Q and R look the same.
Apple's implementation in its equation editor does not permit any \usepackage statements that would allow you to change the font used in creating the Q or R characters. Years ago, Keynote did not have a built-in equation editor, and you probably used MathType or some other external approach that had formal Math fonts installed.
Now, with the Keynote equation editor you are limited to \mathbb{Q} or \mathbb{R}.

I think I used the TeXGyre math font directly, but it has a weird side-effect in that the line height is too high. My guess is that the glyphs in the TeXGyre math font are not 100% correct. But this is good enough. Thank you.
